• INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL PLANNING

    Thomas Jones Financial LLC

Our mission is to provide individuals and businesses with professional management of investment accounts and effective financial planning advice. We achieve our mission by offering clients low costs, choice, and personal service.

Founded in 2001, Thomas Jones Financial is an independent Michigan registered investment adviser. Our investment adviser representatives do not sell proprietary products and receive no sales commissions.

    Fiduciary Oath

We commit to the following five fiduciary principles:

    1. We will always put our clients' best interests first.

    2. We will act with prudence; that is, with the skill, care, diligence, and good judgment of a professional.

    3. We will not mislead clients, and will provide conspicuous, full and fair disclosure of all important facts.

    4. We will avoid conflicts of interest.

    5. We will fully disclose and fairly manage, in our clients' favor, any unavoidable conflicts.

  • Areas of Practice

Unlike many firms who refer you to other professionals, we provide legal and tax advice to investment and financial planning clients.

    Investment Management

In uncertain financial times when markets are volatile, it is important to have an advisor with your best interests in mind. You need a relationship with a knowledgeable advisor to help you achieve your long-term vision.

Internet-based investing sites promise to minimize conflicts and reduce fees, but they lack the personalized service that only a professional can provide in an office setting. Do you really believe that a one-size-fits-all solution is best for you?

    Retirement Planning

Although it is never too late to plan for retirement, the earlier you start, the easier it will be to accumulate the funds you will need. Most people are looking for answers to the following questions:

    1. Do I have enough money to retire?

    2. How long will my money last?

    3. When can I retire?

    4. How much do I need to save for my retirement?

    Estate Planning

In the broadest sense, the term estate planning encompasses the accumulation, conservation, and distribution of an estate. The overall purpose of the estate planning process is to develop a plan that will enhance and maintain the financial security of clients and their families. We discuss property ownership, probate avoidance, incapacity planning, and much more.

    Income Tax

Your income tax return tells us a lot about your financial situation. We prepare individual income tax returns for many of our investment management clients. We pay special attention to beneficiary designations, capital gain issues, and location of investments between taxable and tax-deferred accounts.
